For the first time in the market of rural green tourism, standards of service provision for vacationers in rural areas will be introduced.
On October 3, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., the Association of Rural Green Tourism will hold an online presentation of the Code of New Accommodation Standards for holidaymakers in country estates.
Today, when rural green tourism performs one of the most important missions, aimed at psychological and physical support of Ukrainians during the war, the adoption of the Code of new standards of conditions for receiving guests in rural areas is an important task.
The only system of standards is the civilized European market. These are the modern requirements that underlie the further development of the industry, and are based on the orderly principles of systematicity, obligation, optimality and, ultimately, perspective.
The norms and requirements for the provision of services, which the Union introduces for the first time in the activities of market participants, correspond to those principles and criteria that put the interests of the client first, which is a modern concept of the development of any sphere in the economic development of our country.
The participants of the online presentation will be members of the Union of Rural Green Tourism of Ukraine, representatives of national and regional authorities, people's deputies, Western experts, public organizations, donors, and the media.
Successful owners of rural estates from different regions of Ukraine who work in the field of rural hospitality are invited.
The European experience of rural tourism standards will be presented by Klaus Ehrlich, Secretary General of the European Federation of Rural Tourism and UNDP international expert Konrad Drozdowski.
